The traditional varieties of Bordeaux - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot are planted in our Gimblett Gravels vineyard, and are expertly blended based on the character of each vintage.
Our proprietary blend of four varieties gives a true expression of our Gimblett Gravels Vineyard.
Merlot is the most widely planted variety in our Gimblett Gravels Vineyard. The warmth of the vineyard and stony soils help create opulent and structured Merlot which form the base of our Bordeaux blends. The resulting wines are deeply coloured, highly aromatic and possess signature dusty tannins.
