We dined at Terrior Restaurant, Craggy Range Winery on Saturday evening. We wanted something special and that is exactly what we got. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming on a very cold Winter evening with a lovely fire and wonderfully attentive staff. We both had entree, main & dessert as well as cheese and coffee to end the evening. Each course was perfectly timed so that we had an extremely relaxing experience. We were in no hurry and spent about 2.5 hours just enjoying the atmosphere, great service and delicious food. The crispy duck confit entree I had was beautiful, it was tasty and the meat, super tender. My husband had the poached pear with blue cheese and witloof, which I sampled and it was very tasty too. Venison for my husband as a main which I tried and it was very tender, although a little too rare for me, but he loved it. I had the rotisserie lamb pithivier which was tasty and tender, with baby vegetables. Desserts were a real treat with a delicious feijoa souffle for my husband and lemon thyme ice cream with lemon honey, baby meringues and lemoncello jellies...it was so delicious. Service attentive, with ample top ups of our water glasses and some suggestions in regards to dessert selection and choice of cheese ( which I might add was a great recommendation!) Though up there in price, it was worth every cent and we would have no hesitation in returning again or recommending it to others.
