Wine Enthusiast Magazine names Craggy Range its 2014 New World Winery of the Year

Craggy Range expands Family Collection - First limited release Pinot Gris from Martinborough

Hawke’s Bay Winery Craggy Range announces the first of its 2014 vintage with a limited release Pinot Gris from Te Muna Road Vineyard in Martinborough and a second Gimblett Gravels Rosé being launched later this month. 
 
The wine is the result of three years of trial fermentations. Subtle spiced pear and floral notes make Craggy Range Te Muna Road Vineyard Pinot Gris a beautiful accompaniment to spiced aromatic dishes.

From Martinborough to Shanghai, Craggy Range travels well

Craggy Range’s single vineyard 2012 Te Muna Road Pinot Noir has won ‘Best Pinot Noir’ and ‘Best New Zealand Pinot Noir’ Trophy as well as a gold medal at the 2014 Wine 100 Challenge in Shanghai. Only 37 out of the more than 600 entries from 10 countries gained golds.

Three other wines from the Gimblett Gravels vineyard located in Hawke’s Bay also won silver and bronze medals at the awards announced in mid-July.... Read More
