2011 Prestige Collection Release
The 2011 Prestige Collection release is nearly upon us, and as a Deep Purple member we are thrilled to provide you with the first, and in some cases, only, opportunity to buy these wines.
This is particularly special, as when the 2012 is released, there will be no 'Sophia', 'Le Sol', nor 'The Quarry'. This vintage was simply too cool and wet in Hawke’s Bay. As only the very best is worthy of inclusion in this range, ‘Aroha’ Pinot Noir from Te Muna Road Vineyard in Martinborough will be the flagship wine from 2012.
And sadly, 2011 is the final release of Les Beaux Cailloux, our much loved Chardonnay from Gimblett Gravels.

Vintage Of A Generation
In 2013, if you were in our vineyards and wineries or involved in growing grapes or making wine at Craggy Range, particularly in Hawkes Bay, you would have witnessed the vintage of a generation. This is not a statement made lightly. It is a considered, carefully composed opinion defined without the influence of emotion. Winter F.A.W.C!
Winter F.A.W.C! is just around the corner - embrace the cooler months and enjoy a rustic dinner in front of the roaring Terrôir fireplace with the F.A.W.C! Friday Rotisserie or become an expert on terroir in a two-hour masterclass explaining the intricacies of this French term for the unique combination of soil, climate and culture within a particular vineyard or region.
F.A.W.C! by 5 also launches this winter with the Terrôir Tasting Plate @ Craggy Range
Sample five canapé-sized plates specially selected by Terrôir Head Chef Leyton to showcase the region's finest produce. Each plate is served alongside a perfectly matched tasting of Craggy Range single vineyard wine.

Cellar Door Winter Series Tastings
If you live in close proximity to the Craggy Range Cellar Door in Havelock North; or are thinking of a winter sojourn to Hawke’s Bay, keep an eye out for our Winter Tasting Series. While dates are yet to be confirmed, you can be assured of an interesting, eclectic mix of wines sourced from back vintage cellars around New Zealand and the world. The series is a wonderful chance to be inspired by lesser known varietals or access special wines that have been specially chosen to spark debate and interest. Those that attend our Winter Tasting Series evenings are also welcome to purchase Craggy Range wines.
